Biography
Matthew joined Boreal in June 2011 to lead research and development focused on bringing Boreal’s technologies into clinical markets. He oversees assay development, productization, and Boreal’s service laboratory supporting translational research from academic collaborators and pharma partners. Matthew holds joint undergraduate degrees in Molecular Biology and Electromechanical Engineering, and Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of British Columbia. He has a strong background in detection technology development from his graduate studies and Post Doctoral work at Delft University in the Netherlands.
