Biography

Carl is responsible for the overall direction of West Direct, focusing on continually improving operations and service performance. Carl has an extensive sales and marketing background in a number of industries, but found his calling in the courier industry. His experience allowed him to create West Direct in 1990 and provide the missing elements for courier success –industry-leading technology and an innovative delivery model. A true problem solver, finding ways to meet clients’ needs is fun and rewarding for Carl.Most of all, he believes in people. He works closely with all levels of personnel to ensure West Direct’s team is productive, efficient and happy with their roles and contribution. He loves chatting with people, listening to their stories and learning what they’re about. After 30 years in the industry, Carl credits West Direct’s team as the reason he loves his job.
