Biography
"Tim has spent most of his adult life in the logistics industry, starting as a courier in 1981. In 1982, he was moved into the office as a dispatcher and remained in this capacity until 1987, when he was promoted to Assistant Operations Manager for Rainbow Couriers, Calgary’s largest local courier company at the time. Promoted to Operations Manager six months later, he remained in this position until 1992, when he was recruited by Carl Hollick to join the fledgling West Direct Express. After nurturing West Direct’s operation through the early meteoric growth years, Tim moved into the more client-focused roles of Account Management and Sales & Marketing in 1997 and has maintained this focus ever since, ensuring West Direct’s services evolve with client needs and are tailored to individual requirements. His well-rounded and extensive knowledge of the courier industry and the Calgary market has served West Direct and our clients extremely well over the years and facilitated West Direct’s evolution into Calgary’s largest and most successful local courier company."
