Biography
He received his PhD in Government from Cornell University in 2002. He has been a visiting research fellow at the University of Tokyo’s Institute of Social Science several times, most recently in 2008. In 2009-2010, he was a S.V. Ciriacy-Wantrup visiting research fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining Laurier, he was an assistant professor at Trent University from 2002 to 2006. He hold a cross-appointment to the Balsillie School of International Affairs. I grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
