Biography
She received her PhD in sociology from the University of Calgary in 1998. Prior to joining Laurier, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the department of Sociology at the University of Alberta (1998-2000). She joined the department of Sociology as an assistant professor at Laurier in 2000.
