Biography
He received his PhD in International Relations with a specialization in Islamic Studies from American University in Washington, D.C., in 2005. He also completed a MA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Islam and peace and conflict resolution from American University in Washington, D.C., in 2000, and an MFA in Sculpture and Drawing from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1996.
