Biography
Adam was a previous Associate Partner with D.B.K. Engineering, then moved to Omicron AEC to help establish the Calgary Electrical Department. He is an experienced project manager and electrical designer, having been involved in multiple new building projects and significant renovations for 15 years in Calgary. While at his previous companies he was involved in all electrical aspects. He was responsible for preparing fee proposals, client coordination and negotiation, attending all design meetings, site construction progress reviews, meetings and reports, construction management, co-ordination and performing fire alarm verifications, electrical design, and ACAD/Revit drafting. Adam provides his technical expertise in fire alarm, emergency systems, power distribution, lighting, communication, security, and motor controls, as required for each project. Adam has been awarded multiple lighting design awards throughout his career. He was the lead designer of the Seaton shopping center and received an innovation award for the site lighting, and was also the lead lighting designer of the Calgary New Central Library. Adam is an active member of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association and is very passionate in fire alarm design. This has allowed him to succeed in many complicated new and renovated fire alarm designs to meet all Canadian codes.
