Biography
Derek attended Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, Alberta, where he received a diploma in engineering design and drafting technology. After completing his education he worked for a mechanical consulting engineering firm in Calgary for 4 years, before moving to the lower mainland. Derek has over 10 years’ experience in the mechanical engineering field, and is now a Project Manager working out of the Abbotsford office. Derek enjoys golfing, travelling, collecting scotch (and drinking it), not to mention spending time with friends and family, with whom he shares his passion for great food.
