Biography
Juanita Alvarez is the Regional Manager of WorldGBC’s Americas Network of Green Building Councils in 19 countries. She focuses on strengthening the green building councils across the region, regional projects, and promoting an active engagement towards green building and the sharing best practices through the network. She holds a Masters degree from New York University, and has a background in corporate communications and public relations, specialising in companies within the real estate industry. Previously, she worked at the Colombia Green Building Council as Marketing and Communications Director, leading the strategy for positioning the Council, adding competitive value and increasing the engagement with current and potential members. Juanita is based in Colombia.
