Biography
Stefan Hehn, being an integral member of Dentsply Sirona’s leadership team, joins Zephyr’s Board of Directors with an extensive background in empowering dental professionals to provide better, safer, faster dental care. In 1992, Stefan started his career in the dental industry at Siemens Dental located in Bensheim, Germany. He worked in software development for their CAD/CAM division for five years before moving to a product management position at Sirona Dental Systems. By 2002, Stefan was promoted to the Director of Sales and Marketing CAD/CAM for Sirona Dental Systems in Charlotte, NC. Since 2007, he continues to lead the Dentsply Sirona team as the Vice President and General Manager of Imaging Systems. Stefan was born in Frankfurt, Germany. At the age of 21, he started working towards his Master’s degree in Physics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University. Within a few years, Stefan traveled to the United States to complete a 1 year exchange program at the University of Missouri in Saint Louis. He returned to the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in 1985 where he completed his master thesis on “ESPI – Electronic Speckle Pattern Velocimitry”. In 1992, he was awarded his PhD in physics after completing his thesis on “Particle Imaging Velocimitry”.
