Biography

Mr. Oscar Ferenczi has been General Manager at Laboratorios Andromaco S.A. since 2014. Mr. Ferenczi has been an Executive Vice President of SBU Latin America at Grünenthal GmbH since February 2013. Mr. Ferenczi serves as General Manager of Gruenenthal S.A. Panama, the regional head office of Grünenthal GmbH in Latin America, as well as General Manager of Gruenenthal Latin America, Miami. He served as the Head of Commercial Operations of Latin America at Sandoz International GmbH. He joined Sandoz from Merck and Co., where, he served as President of the Brazilian subsidiary since 2006, overseeing a period of significant growth for Merck and a sales and marketing turnaround. Prior to this, he held various senior sales and country management roles within Merck over 20 years, including General Manager positions in Ecuador, Peru and Chile and Head of Sales and Marketing in Mexico. Mr. Ferenczi holds a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Muhlenberg College in Allentown and has undertaken post-graduate studies at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania; Columbia University and Harvard University, all in the US.
