Biography
He graduated from the Faculty of Science of Kitasato University (biochemistry) and received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tokyo Medical University.
Research Interest
He has worked in the development of medical devices, biomedical materials and medicinal products for many years, and established Japan Tissue Engineering Co., Ltd., (J-TEC) as the first company in Japan developing products using human cells and tissues, and took up the post as director and manager of the Research Development Division in 1999.
