Biography
Dr. Li obtained his Ph.D degree from Nankai University in polymer chemistry and physics, and completed his post-doctoral research in combinatorial chemistry and medicinal chemistry at Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Afterward he joined Professor C. Abell’s group at University of Cambridge continuing his research in developing novel parallel synthesis chemistry. He expanded his research interests into biosensors and diagnostic devices development taken a position of the leader and senior scientist of assay development group at the Cambridge R&D division of Inverness Medical Innovations (IMI). Dr Li joined Adesso Nanotechnology Ltd in 2010 as a Director of Research and Development. He has authored and co-authored 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and 8 issued or pending patents. Dr. Li is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC).
