Frank Yu

Biography

Frank Yu is vice president‒Eastern China at Air Products. He is fully responsible for leading the profitable and sustainable growth of the company’s integrated Industrial Gases business in Eastern China.  Mr. Yu joined Air Products in 1998 as a project engineer and later held the positions of plant operations supervisor and merchant operations manager in Nanjing. In 2002 his role was expanded to the Eastern China region as distribution and operations manager, followed by China merchant operations manager in 2005. Mr. Yu assumed commercial and business management responsibilities beginning in 2007 and subsequently assumed the role of business manager of the company’s CryoEase® business, followed by general manager of the China CryoEase business. He served as general manager of the Packaged Gases and Microbulk business for China before assuming his current position to lead the Industrial Gases business in Eastern China.

Research Interest

Prior to joining Air Products, Mr. Yu worked for a state-owned company as a mechanical design engineer from 1994-1998.  Mr. Yu holds a bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University of Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Nanjing University.
