Richard J. Babaian

Biography

Babaian is Professor and Senior Medical Director. Prior to serving in this role, Babaian was Professor of Surgery in the Department of Urology, Director of the Prostate Detection Clinic and the Blanche Bender Professor in Cancer Research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Upon completion of his degree in medicine from Georgetown University, Babaian completed his internship at the University of Wisconsin and his residency at the University of Wisconsin and the University of North Carolina. Additionally, Babaian completed a three-year fellowship in Urologic Oncology.
