Biography
Tan Genjia, male, born in July, 1963, was from Wang Jiang country of Anhui. He obtained his bachelor degree from Anhui Agricultural University in 1985, and got master degree of science from Anhui Agricultural University in 1988, and received doctor degree of agronomy from Anhui Agricultural University in 2009. Since 1988, he has been teaching the courses such as “Agricultural Plant Pathology”, “Epidemiology of Plant Diseases” and “IPM”. His research areas include plant epidemiology, green control, and risk assessment of plant disease. He has published more than 130 academic articles, 3 textbooks, and finished more than 12 research programs funded by governments at different levels, enterprises, universities and organizations. Now, he is the rector of college plant protection of Anhui agricultural university, and also he is a professor and the doctoral supervisor. He keeps the headship of superintendent of applied microorganism institute of Anhui Agricultural University; member of council for China Society of Plant Protection, vice president of Anhui Society of Plant Protectioni; vice president of Anhui Society of Plant pathology .Now he is an academic and technical leader of Anhui province. He was named the provincial excellent teacher in 1998, the provincial exemplary teacher in 2004.
