Biography
Rutorn graduated from Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Law in 1982 and from Southern Methodist University School of Law (located in Dallas, Texas, USA) in 1984. He joined Domnern Somgiat & Boonma inn 1988 as an associate, focusing on the IP enforcement side of the firm’s practice. He became a partner in 1995 and has handled various types of IP enforcement work including litigation, police actions and Customs seizures. He has been on the Board of Directors of the Intellectual Property Association of Thailand, the Copyright Board and is currently a member of the Council of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA).
