Biography
Dr. Choi joined the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Lecturer in August 2015. She received her Master’s degree in Tourism Management from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. Dr. Choi has also displayed strong potential and promise as a scholar. She received the “Rising Scholar Award” at the 80th Tourism Sciences Society of Korea (International Conference on Tourism, 13-15 July, 2016) and received the “Best Paper Award” at the World Conference on Hospitality, Tourism and Event Research & International Convention and Expo Summit in 2015. In addition, she has had the “Best Paper Award” at the Global Tourism & Hospitality Conference and Asia Tourism Forum in 2014. Her diverse teaching and industry experiences have informed her research interest, which lies in cross-cultural research as well as in tourist psychology in shopping tourism
