Biography
Mr. Cai Guoxin is currently the general manager and chief operating officer of AU Optronics. He has complete qualifications in the display industry and is familiar with all aspects of business, marketing, supply chain and manufacturing. He joined AUO in 1997 as Director of Materials and Procurement, and in 2002 went to Suzhou Plant as Director of Materials and Operations to assist in the establishment of local materials supply chain system and counseling suppliers. After returning to Taiwan in 2005, he was appointed as the assistant manager of the purchasing office. In 2007, he was appointed as senior manager of information display. In 2008, he was promoted to the general manager of the deputy general manager and video product business group. In 2013, he was promoted to the senior deputy general manager and general manager of the video products business group. In 2015 was promoted to general manager and chief operating officer. Cai graduated from the National University of Economics and Management, and obtained the EMBA degree from the National Jiaotong University in 2010.
