Biography
Mr. Peng Shuanglang is currently Chairman and CEO of AU Optronics, in the display industry has many years of cross-cutting experience. In 1990, he worked at BenQ Computer and went to the Malaysian plant as head of materials and production. In 1998, he served as Deputy General Manager of AU Optronics Supply Chain. 2001 went to mainland China to build AUO's first foreign manufacturing plant, as general manager of Suzhou factory. After returning to Taiwan in 2005, transferred to the field of business marketing, as the information display business group general manager. In 2008, he was promoted to executive vice president of global business, led the TV business group, information display business group and consumer product display business group. During his tenure, he successfully formed an alliance with important customers, set up a joint venture factory, and laid out the world. 2012 was promoted to general manager, successfully led the management team is committed to technological upgrading and product differentiation, in May 2015 was promoted to AU Optronics chairman. Pang Shuanglang is a Master of Business Administration for Heriot-Watt University in the UK.
