Biography
From 2010 to now, She have been an associate professor for urban planning in the School of Landscape Architecture, Beijing Forestry University. In teaching, She is in charge of the third grade undergraduates’ city design course that are some of the most important lessons of urban and rural planning undergraduate students. They study very hard but are lack of information about the latest international design methods and ideas. She want to set up a platform which could provide the gateway to fresh international design ideas. Landscape architecture in Beijing Forestry University ranks first in China which has the deep foundation on ecological and green space system. She continue my research focusing on coordinated relations between city and green space. She won the support of Beijing Municipal level Research Funding. In the meantime, I also participate in some nation-class research projects. In her research work, I try to reveal that, with the rapid development of GIS and other information technologies, whether traditional methods of urban design and green space design need to make major adjustments or not; and in metropolitan areas, what’s a role that urban design should play in the open green space planning.
