Biography
In 1989, he got his first Ph.D. on ecology in Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2001, he got his second Ph.D. on remote sensing and applied optics in Chiba University, Japan. In 1985, he got his Master Degree on silviculture in Shenyang Agriculture University, China In 1982, he got his Bachelor Degree on forestry in Shenyang Agriculture University, China Working Experience From 1989 to 2001, he did research in the Institute of Applied Ecology as assistant professor, associate professor and professor. In 2002, he transfered to Institute of Geographic Science and Natural Rersources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2007 to present, he works as a professor in Beijing Forestry University.
Research Interest
Plant community ecology, vegetation remote sensing, and forest carbon cycle modeling
