Biography
Xi Zheng is Professor of Landscape Architecture. His research focuses on landscape architecture as a medium to analyze the ecological adaptability of human settlements, landscape architectural and ecological planning and design theory and practice, regional landscape system evolution and urbanism, mountain-water urbanism. He got PhD degree of urban planning and design (including landscape architecture) from Beijing Forestry University, and he was the visiting scholar at Harvard University, graduate school of design (2014). Zheng is deputy chief editor of Journal of Landscape architecture (China), and have been published over 30 essays and articles on his research and teaching in academic journals Zheng has taught core Landscape architecture design Studio, while he practiced over 40 projects of landscape planning and design, including riverfront, botanical garden, event landscape, urban park, ecological remediation, etc.
