Biography
Dr. CI is currently a professor of Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She got her PhD from Institute of Biophysics, CAS in 2004. And from 2004 to 2009, she got her Postdoc training in Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Cornell Medical College, respectively. Then, she joined Beijing Institute of Genomics at 2009. The ultimate goal of her laboratory is to define the DNA methylation changes that occur in cancers especially renal cell carcinomas, to discover the molecular causes of these changes, and to translate that newly gained knowledge into the clinic in the form of novel, epigenetic-based therapies.
