Biography
Nan Wang, born in Yingkou city of Liaoning province, earned her Ph.D at School of Economics and Management, Beihang University. She is Associate Professor of Business Management at Business School, Beijing Technology and Business University. She has taught corporate finance and accounting information system, and her research interests include investment decision on innovation and real option. She is a member of International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR). She once worked in Mercer Management Consulting, the biggest human resource management consulting company in the world, and after that, worked as the director’s assistant of Beijing Chaoyang Investment Promotion Bureau in 2008. Dr. Wang has published more than thirty articles on a wide range of investment decision on innovation, real option and finance–related issues in many academic journals including Science Research Management, Reform, Study in Science of Science, Soft Science and Science of Science and Management of S&T. She led and took part in over ten projects supported by the foundations, such as Science Foundation of Ministry of Education of China, Natural Science Foundation, Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Foundation, Beijing Natural Science Foundation. She also once led or took part in projects from the institutions, like National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Boao Forum for Asia and Zhong Guan Cun Science Park.
