Zhang Hongliang

Biography

Zhang Hongliang, Male, was born at Hebei province in 1974. He is a ph.D of management, Associate professor of business school and executive director of investor protection research center. He graduated from Lanzhou University and Renmin University of China in the year of 1997, 2004 and 2007 respectively. Prof. Zhang teaches principle of accountancy, advanced financial accounting, accounting theory(positive approach), corporate accounting and other undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. Efforts are devoted to the research of accounting information and corporate governance as well as accounting-based investor protection. Prof. Zhang published more than 30 papers in Accounting Research, Auditing Research and other professional journals as well as a monograph. He is in charge of National social science fund project (youth), humanities and social science youth project of the ministry of education and Beijing municipal education commission on humanities and social science project. Moreover, he serves as a financial commentator of Yangguang Financial Comment and an expert of China Financial Market Securities Weekly, China Business and Xinhua News Agency. He also acts as a quality control expert in Accounting Firms of Xinzhengtai and Zhongyongheng as well as a financial consultant of several corporate. Currently, he is an executor of accounting-based investor protection Project Team (research base of accounting-based investor protection).
