Biography
Doctor Zhao Baoqing, born in January 1959, professor of Beijing Technology and Business University, specializes in auditing theory and practice. He teaches courses of Auditing, Introduction to Auditing, and Structure of Auditing Theory for graduate and undergraduate students in BTBU. He is also the lecturer of telecourses of the Open University of China and the chief editor of the textbook Auditing. This book is used as the textbook for undergraduate students of the OUC. Professor Zhao is an expert in auditing theory and practice and serves as the commissioner of China Audit Society, commissioner of Beijing Audit, member of the review committee for senior auditor of the National Audit Office, and independent director for several listed companies. He publishes dozens of papers on Auditing Research and Accounting Research and six monographs and hosts eight provincial and ministerial projects. In 1998, he was awarded as the Outstanding Young Teacher of Higher Education of Beijing. Professor Zhao is also the director of the Excellent Courses of Higher Education of Beijing and the chief editor of Case Study on Auditing, which is awarded as the National 11th Five-year Plan Textbook and Excellent Textbook of Higher Education of Beijing. He is also the chief director of Auditing, which is awarded as the Excellent Textbook of Higher Education of Beijing. The rewards of Professor Zhao also include the second prize of the Outstanding Achievement of Philosophy and Social Science of Beijing and eight ministerial and auditing institutional awards.
