Biography
Dave Devol joined BGI in 1998 as an operational analyst in support of multiple training and technical projects. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a BS in Astronautical Engineering and did graduate work at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. He is an instructor and flight examiner with over 5,000 flight hours, including more than 2,000 hours in the F-16 aircraft. He has combat experience in Operations Desert Storm, Southern and Northern Watch, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military career also included Forward Air Control experience in the O-2 and OV-10 aircraft, and spanned a wide range of operational leadership positions. He recently retired from the Air National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel after more than 23 years of combined active duty and reserve service. Since joining BGI, Dave has co-authored several industry papers, and has served as a member of two I/ITSEC sub-committees: Education and Simulation. As company President, he maintains responsibility for refining our products, services and processes as well as the shaping of new business pursuits.
