Neil Gibson

Biography

Neil Gibson has more than 25 years of pharmaceutical drug development experience, most recently as Senior Vice President of BioAtla. Dr Gibson was previously Chief Scientific Officer of Regulus Therapeutics; Chief Scientific Officer of the Oncology Research Unit at Pfizer, La Jolla; Chief Scientific Officer at OSI Pharmaceuticals; and Director of Cancer Research in the Department of Cancer and Osteoporosis at Bayer. Dr. Gibson has held numerous academic appointments, including Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy and Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Southern California, and Fogarty Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. He is also a past president of the British Pharmaceutical Students Association. Dr. Gibson earned his Ph.D. in 1982 from the University of Aston in Birmingham, England.
