Biography
Mr. Von Pervieux joined BioMarin in October 2008 as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology. He is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of information technology systems at BioMarin. His team is focused on delivering IT initiatives that support the goals of the company, and manages the IT applications, infrastructure, and operations for BioMarin globally. Prior to joining BioMarin, Mr. Von Pervieux served as Executive Director of the Systems & Business Process team at Amgen, where he provided leadership for the global implementation and management of supply chain technologies. Between 2000 and 2006, he acted as Director of Business Process & Technology in the R&D division of Pfizer. Prior to working with Pfizer, Mr. Von Pervieux worked as an implementation consultant and strategist for a European based enterprise resources planning company. He has extensive experience working internationally and regularly presents at various technology conferences. He sits on several IT Advisory committees and is recognized in the industry for leadership in delivering innovative technology solutions. He holds an M.B.A and M.I.B. from the University of Miami, and a B.A. in economics.
Research Interest
