Biography
Dr. Yang Yang obtained his Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics and Material Science from City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in 2012. He joined the Center of Super Diamond and Advanced Films (COSDAF) in CityU as a Senior Research Associate in the same year. In September 2013, he joined Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was selected into Shenzhen overseas high-level talents "Peacock" plan. In 2015, He continued working in SIAT and became associate professor. He had served as the PI of many projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation and Shenzhen Municipality Science and Technology Planning Project, etc.
Research Interest
Thin films science and technology, diamond films, plasma processing, surface science and modification, nanostructuring of film surface. He has published over 40 SCI journal papers, submitted 15 patents and hold 2 patents.
