Biography
Heping Dai, female, born in August 1953, Director technician, deputy director of State key Lab of Medical Genetics of China. Enjoyed special government allowances in 1992. Was named national young experts with outstanding contributions in 1997. Has been engaged in medical cell genetics research since 1978, authored and participated in published research papers more than 100 articles. Directed and participated in the completion of 32 Research topics, including the National Natural Science Foundation, State ‘973’ Program , State ‘863’ Program and so on. As the main responsible person received award 16 times, including the first grade prize of Ministry of Health 4 times, the second grade prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 4 times, the second grade prize of National Science Award considered themselves 1 times. Involved in the completion of the human genetic high-frequency neural deafness disease gene GJB3 cloning, achieved a zero breakthrough in our local hereditary diseases gene cloning, and published paper in “Nature Genetics”. As a member won the first grade prize of “The Cheung Kong Scholars Achievement Award” of China in 1999. Participated in identifying the world’s first reported karyotype of China more than 2,000 species, as the deputy director involved in editing the “China Human Chromosome abnormal karyotype database”.
