Biography
We use genetics, molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry to understand the mechanisms of human diseases and physiology. Our research focuses on three interconnected areas: first, the molecular mechanisms of RNA splicing and neurodegenerative diseases caused by aberrant RNA splicing; second, neural circuits and animal behavior; and third, the genetics and animal models of Parkinson's disease.
