Biography

Xiao-he Xiao, a researcher and doctoral supervisor, joined the army in 1995, and achieved his doctor degree of Traditional Chinese Pharmacology in 1998. He is also the director of Integrative Medical Center for Liver Diseases of 302 Military Hospital and China Military Institute of Chinese Medicine, the academic leader of key subjects of Clinical Chinese pharmacology of State Administration of TCM, the executive director of China Chinese Medicine Institute, the director of China Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the chairman of Chinese Patent Medicine Branch of China Chinese Medicine Institute, the vice chairman of Chinese Medicine and Natural Drug professional board of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, the vice chairman of China Military Chinese Medicine Institute and the chairman of Chinese Pharmacological Specialty, the member of Chinese Pharmacopoeia Committee, the assessment experts of  National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the editorial board member of more than 10 professional journals at home and abroad such as Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica and China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, etc.

His main research interests include the Quality control of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Rational drug use, New drug R&D.
