Yang Jie

Biography

  Yang Jie is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. He holds a bachelor degree at University of International Business Economics. Mr. Yang is currently serving as executive director and chief executive officer of MEC Advisory Limited which is the sole advisor of Can-China Global Resource Fund, and executive director of EMC Financial Limited, the general partner of Can-China Global Resource Fund. Mr. Yang has more than 20 years of experience in mining investment and capital operation. He served as a board member of several Canadian listed mining companies and senior adviser of several Chinese companies for their overseas investment. He has participated in corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions for numerous Canadian mining companies. Mr. Yang served as senior vice president in Hunter Dickinson Inc. and Partner and director in Continental Mineral Corp. Mr. Yang is currently a director of Highbury Project Inc., a company listed in Canada. Save as disclosed above, Mr. Yang did not hold any directorships in any other listed public companies in the past three years.
