Mr.chi Hongji

Biography

 Mr. Chi, aged 65, retired, was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 16 June 2017. He held various positions including geological officer, person in charge of projects, division director engineer and chief engineer in No. 1 Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources of Shandong Province from 1980 to 2005. Mr. Chi graduated from the Department of Geology of Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (中南礦冶學院) (currently known as Central South University) in 1979, and was accredited as a mineral reserves appraiser by the Ministry of Personnel of the People’s Republic of China (中華人民共和國人事部) and the Ministry of Land and Resources of the People’s Republic of China in 2002. Mr. Chi has extensive experience and knowledge in geological exploration.
