Biography
Dr. Hairong Wu, born on April 21st, 1984, is now an associate professor in Institute of Enhanced Oil Recovery, China University of Petroleum (Beijing). In September 2015, she got her doctor’s degree in Physical Chemistry from MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology, University of Twente (the Netherlands). She joined Institute of Enhanced Oil Recovery, China University of Petroleum (Beijing) as an assistant professor since October 2015. In June 2016, she got promoted as an associate professor. In addition, she was selected as the outstanding young talents of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in June 2016. Her research interest lies in colloid and surface chemistry, oil field chemistry and enhanced oil recovery as well as development and application of nano agents for oil flooding. She is now in charge of one project supported by China University of Petroleum (Beijing). Based on her accomplishments, the fruits of her work have been published 17 journal articles, including 8 first author SCI journal articles and 1 EI first author journal article, in many peer-reviewed scientific journals. In addition, she has presented her scientific work in many international conferences such as 249th ACS National Meeting and 21st International Symposium on Surfactants in Solution.
