Biography
Dr. Juan Zhang is an assistant professor at the Research Institute of Enhanced Oil Recovery of China University of Petroleum-Beijing. Dr. Zhang obtained her doctoral degree of Colloid & Interface Chemistry from Shandong University in 2013 and was a visitor scholar in University of Maryland-College Park, USA. Her research interests include colloid & interface chemistry, self-assembled systems, oilfield chemistry, and applications of gels, surfactants, polymers and other chemical agents in enhancing oil recovery. She has been a leader in National Natural Science Fundation of China, and several science fundations of China University of Petroleum-Beijing. Until now, she has published papers in Soft Matterã€J. Phys. Chem. Bã€J. Colloid Interface Sci. etc. and has one patent.She is also a member of Chinese Petroleum Society.
