Biography
Dr. Zihao Yang is an Associate Professor at the Research Institute of Enhanced Oil Recovery of China University of Petroleum-Beijing. He is also a Master supervisor for Chemical Engineering and Technology. In 2012, Dr. Yang obtained his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology from China University of Petroleum-Beijing. He was a visiting PhD student at Heriot-Watt University from 2009 to 2010. His research interest includes EOR, CO2 flooding and carbon sequestration, colloid and interface chemistry, unconventional oil & gas development and Oilfield Chemistry. He secures the sponsorship from National Natural Science Foundation of China, PetroChina Innovation Foundation, and Science Foundation of China University of Petroleum-Beijing, and also he possesses rich professional experience in national projects and oil company projects. He has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals including Fuelã€Journal of Chemical & Engineering Dataã€Colloids and Surfaces Aã€Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering, Acta Petrolei Sinica, etc.; and he owns one granted patent. He is also a member of Society of Petroleum Engineers and Chinese Petroleum Society.
