Biography
Professor Pingwu Du received the Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University in 2001 and PhD degree in Chemistry from University of Rochester in 2009. Thereaftrer he joined Professor Stephen J Lippard group as a postdoc associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research interests include solar energy conversion (solar driven water splitting, solar cells), photoinduced electron transfer and energy transfer, supramolecular chemistry, fluorescent sensors and molecular imaging. Professor Pingwu Du has received several awards including American Chemical Society Young Investigator Award (2009), American Chemical Society Nobel Laureate Signature Award (2011) et.al.
