Biography
Guo-Ping Guo received a bachelor's and Ph.D. degree in physics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2000 and 2005, where he focused on the research of quantum optics and quantum information in atom, molecule and optics systems.
Research Interest
Prof. Guo works on quantum transport and its application for solid state quantum computing. This includes the design and manufacture process of nanostructure devices. Meanwhile, the Guo’s groupfocuses on measurement and control system of quantum chips, specifically about the semiconductor gate quantum dot, using GaAs, Si, graphene, and other 2-D materials.
