Biography
Dr. JIANG Yong is a senior scientist and doctoral supervisor,serving as vice director of the computer simulation laboratory of the State Kkey Laboratory of Fire Science. His research is focused on the numerical simulation of fire dynamics. Dr. Jiang won funding from the New Century Excellent Talents in University Program in 2006. He is a member of the editorial board of the “Journal of Safety Science and Technology”. He has headed four research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and several other national, provincial and ministerial science projects. He has also been a key member of major projects such as those supported by the 973 Program and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Dr. Jiang has published nearly a hundred papers, more than 50 of which appeared in SCI and EI. Dr. Jiang has supervised more than 30 graduate students, two of whom won Outstanding Master's Thesis of Anhui Province.
