Biography
Xiaoning Liu (Liu Xiaoning), Male, born in 1962, Professor. Director of power supply and control engineering division, insti-tute of plasma physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Main int-erests are high-power pulse power supply and control technolo-gy, design of MW class highly-stabilized power supply system, computer control and protection system of large-scale electric equipment, high power electronic technology, and superconduc-ting magnet quench protection. Received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong Univ-ersity, China, and the M.E. degree in nuclear science and technology from Institute of plasma physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Mr. Liu had been visiting France , USA and Japan for cooperative research. Mr. Liu is in charge of several research project from national Mega-project of Science Research, key research project of Chinese Academy of Sciences and industrial companies. There are 1 students for Ph.D and 3 students for M.S. graduated. Students for power electronics, industrial electrical automation, and power system and its automation are welcomed.
