Biography
Lu Detang, male, born in 1966, currently works as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Modern Mechanics, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). After receiving his master’s degree in 1990 from USTC, Lu joined the faculty, and got promoted to professorship and doctoral supervisorship of USTC in 1999. Prof. Lu was also a recipient of special allowances from the State Council in 2000. Academic positions that Prof. Lu currently holds include: Director of the Software Engineering Research Center for Large-Scale Projects of Anhui Province, Director of the Research Center for Oil & Gas of USTC, and Director of the Institute of Engineering and Science Software of USTC.
Research Interest
His research interests cover well test analysis, thermal conductivity in porous media, influence of perforated completion on productivity, CBM well test analysis and numerical simulation studies, digital bridge, distributed database, visualization in scientific computing, scientific computing and engineering software, etc.
