Biography
Jianming Yao (Yao Jianming), Male, born in 1963, Ph.D., Professor. Main interests are microbiology, environmental microbiology, zymology engineering, microbiological pharmacy. The research emphasis currently focuses on breeding of microbe by ion beam implantation, environmental and resource microbiology, fermentation engineering, biological pesticide.Jianming Yao graduated from Anhui Normal University in 1984. He worked and studied for Ph.D. at Key-Laboratory of Ion Beam Bioengineering, Institute of Plasma Physics Chinese Academy of Sciences. He worked in Molecule Plant Physiology of the Max Institute, Germany, as a visiting scholar from 2000-2001. As project head and coordinator, Dr. Yao joined several projects from the Ministry of science and technology, such as high tech research and development (863) programme and the key technologies R&D programme for the Tenth five-year Plan, as well as the projects from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the industrial companies.
