Biography

Li Wei, Ph.D., researcher, doctoral tutor. Director of the Laboratory of Aquatic Plant Biology, Wuhan Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Director of Key Laboratory of Wetland Evolution and Ecological Restoration of Hubei Province, Deputy Director of Key Laboratory of Aquatic Plant and Watershed Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, mainly engaged in aquatic plant biology, wetland ecology and plant diversity Sexual protection and evaluation, water quality improvement and other aspects of research work. 1988 graduated from the Department of Biology, Wuhan University, Department of Biology, the same year admitted to the school botany professional master's degree. After graduating in 1990, he was assigned to the Wuhan Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Research Interest

He was mainly engaged in the study of aquatic plant ecology and taxonomy. 1992-1995 In the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of aquatic life aquatic biology in-service doctoral degree, in 1996 received a doctorate. 1997.11-1998.11 funded by the Royal Society, in the Institute of Freshwater Ecology (NITC) engaged in cooperative research. 1998 selected the Chinese Academy of Sciences "aquatic plant biology" hundred people plan. And went to the Center for Ecology & Hydrology (NERC) and the National Environmental Research Institute in Denmark, respectively, from 2001 to August 2001 and 2007.4-2007.6. Won the 1996 China Academy of Science and Technology Progress Award, 2009 annual environmental protection science and technology award, in 1998 was named the Chinese Academy of Sciences Wuhan Branch outstanding young science and technology workers, in 1999 by the government special allowance, in 2000 was rated as Five "Excellent Chinese Academy of Sciences".
