Biography
Guofeng Cheng is the Head of Functional Molecules of Parasite Laboratory, Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China; Professor of Parasitology of Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute. He received his PhD in Molecular Parasitology from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2004. He received the Life Science Award from Shanghai and MINGZHI Dairies Corp. Scientific and Technological award from Shanghai Municipality and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences of China. He has published 42 papers and book chapters and ~20 abstracts.
Research Interest
Pharmaceutical purpose of parasite molecules; Developing transgenic tools for parasites; Understanding foundational mechanisms for parasite develop, growth and host-pathogen interactions.
