Biography
Dr. Cheng Jin, the principle investigator of the laboratory, obtained his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1993. He was a postdoc. fellow at University of Arkansas for Medicine Sciences from 1996 to 1997. Dr. Jin joined the faculty at Institute of Microbiology in 1997 and is now professor of biochemistry and molecular biology. Dr. Jin’s laboratory studies biosynthesis and function of polysaccharides in microorganisms.
