Biography
Dr. GB Ge received his B.S. degree in applied chemistry in 2003 from Dalian University of Technology, Ph.D degree in biochemical engineering in 2009 from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Now he is a professor at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His current studies are focused on drug/xenobiotics metabolism, high-throughput screening of enzyme inhibitors, drug metabolizing enzymes associated toxicity, and drug-drug/herbal interactions. In recent years, he has developed a series of specific probes or novel biosensors for sensing the activities of drug metabolizing enzymes, and all these probes have been successfully applied in drug discovery, drug metabolism and toxicological related fields. Now he is the author/coauthor of more than 100 publications in scientific journals, and his representative research achievements have been published in the top academic journals such as Journal of the American Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Scientific Reports, Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology, Proteomics, Food and Chemical Toxicology, The AAPS Journal and Drug Metabolism & Disposition. He has also applied for more than 60 patents including eight international patents, and 20 of them have been authorized.
