Biography
Prof. Dr. Jean-Pierre GILSON received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Namur (Belgium). His Ph.D. thesis, supervised by the late Prof. E.G. DEROUANE, dealt with zeolites. Thereafter, he spent the first 15 years of his career in industry, both in the US (UOP LLC, Grace Davison) and Europe (Shell).
